From guided hikes and trail runs to road biking up to the Maroon Bells, or peak climbs of the local 14,000 foot peaks, I have over 20 years of experience in the mountains around Aspen and as your mountain guide I can show you the way.
14ers Mountain Guide
Surrounding the Aspen area are nearly a dozen 14,000 foot summits of varying degrees of difficulty. A short drive over Independence Pass are some of the tallest mountains in all of Colorado— Mount Elbert, La Plata, Mount Massive, just to name a few— most of which have very straightforward, easy hiking routes.
Closer to home are the Elk Range 14ers, including classics like Pyramid Peak, the Maroon Bells, and Castle Peak, which involve more technical climbing and where route finding is more important. Whether you’re looking to climb your first 14er or finish your list with one of the harder Elk summits, I can show you the way. I have hundreds of 14er summits under my belt, both on skis and on foot and know them very well.
